Uploading an assignment to Turnitin

Uploading your work to Turnitin and downloading a report is quite a simple proc ess .

Navigate to HYMS Turnitin Tutorial

To perform these steps, do non navigate to any location other than the submission points on the HYMS Turnitin Tutorial grade menu in HYMS Blackboard (equally explained below). Do not navigate to an actual live submission point for your course. Y'all cannot access Turnitin that way.

1. Log in to Blackboard with your Hull York Medical Schoolhouse log in details (hyxxxx + HYMS password) by accessing the post-obit link; http://blackboard.hyms.ac.uk.
2. Navigate to the submission points on the HYMS Turnitin Tutorial course menu. *Please firstly work through the other sections of this course sequentially. If you have successfully completed the Turnitin Test you lot will see multiple example submission points visible in this area. View a report online

View online

1. Once you have a similarity percentage, click on  view  or the similarity percentage figure  to view your similarity written report . The report will announced in a new popular out window.

2. Click on the layers  icon  in the summit right-hand corner menu of the written report. From here you cancheck / uncheck the similarity layer .

You canclick on a numberto see a pop-out of the matched text in the context of an identified source. You lot volition see an pick to expand the view orlink out to the source material online.
4. Click on the similarity percent to see the match overview. If there are any matches ,  y'all will see a breakdown of the pct friction match for each source that has matched. You tin farther click on a source and the document viewer will jump to the relevant function of the text. Different sources will exist colour coded in dissimilar colours.

Download

1. Click on the download icon to download the electric current view of the similarity written report in a PDF format.
